Join our free, summer kids’ club!
Have a roar-some time this August with our free Woolshops Wildlife Rangers kids club!
Between 11am-3pm on Friday 7th, 15th, 22nd, 29th August, we will be bringing a different animal habitats to life so that your little ones can go from being ocean adventurers to desert explorers right in Halifax!
The event will be held on the main mall at the front of the centre (outside New look).
Check out our weekly themes below:
7th August – Desert Explorers
Children will step into the hot sands of the desert to begin their ranger training.
They’ll identify animal tracks, practice their best animal calls and create their own ranger pack including a special ID badge.
15th August – Ocean Adventurers
Little ones will crawl through netting like baby turtles racing to the sea, complete a pollution pick up relay and take part in an ocean freeze game.
22nd August – Rainforest Rescuers
Kids will take part in a ‘rainforest trek’, a drumming session and examine ‘evidence’ from the jungle.
29th August – Party Animals
It’s time to celebrate becoming certified wildlife rangers! Participants will create animals masks, learn some groovy moves and have a dance party.
If you collect 3 out of 4 session stamps, you’ll receive a special prize!
